Gremlins strike again
26/6/10

Following a strong qualifying at the Oulton Park round of the Thundersport championship Bryn Owen again fell victim to engine problems forcing him out of the meeting. His qualifying position of 6th showed great promise for the race where he finished 3rd last year.

Strong performance at Anglesey Thundersport
15/9/09

Bryn Owen returned to his home circuit where he had aspirations of victory. Perfect weather conditions made the racing a heated affair with numerous fallers and some scorching times. The 125GP class's front-runners lapped in the 1:11s, times that would decimate a local club race.

Bryn put in strong performance finishing well within the top-10 and just shy of the leading pack in both races.

Back racing at last!
5/8/09

Last weekend Darren and Jonty both returned to racing after their lengthy break. The Wirral 100 race played host to the ACU GSX-R cup and F2 Sidecars and made for a busy paddock and entertaining racing.

Darren had a succesful meeting with a 3rd and a 2nd while Jonty struggled with arm-pump to finish 19th and 15th.

Bryn Taff Racing at MotoGP
28/7/09

The MotoGP paddock was not only host to the most successful MotoGP racer of all time (Valentino Rossi, if you didn't know) but also the most successful Welsh racing team. Thundersport hve run the support races for the Donington MotoGP round for the past two years with considerable success. This year was no exception with great racing in front of a crowd of 40,000 on Saturday. Unfortunately Bryn's race didn't go to plan. He suffered from brake problems and had to pull in after completing only two laps. Hopefully next year at Silverstone will be more successful - and easier to get out of!. The gallery has some images from the weekend.

Thundersport at Highspeed Snetterton
7/6/09

Bryn Owen's Bryn Taff Racing bike has been undergoing a gradual transformation in a bid to increase power and ultimately reduce lap times. He tried out several of the new parts at the power-hungry track of Snetterton. The Norfolk track features the long periods at full throttle with speeds of 140mph so any power increase is an advantage. With several good performances after a dire qualifying, Bryn was ultimately pleased with the results and declared the modifications a success. Detailed results available here.
